1b. Arbitration question: Suppose I make everystudent sign an arbitration contract prior to taking a course withme. The arbitration agreement requires that students cannot sue meand, in any arbitration, the most that can be awarded to studentsfor any wrongful act I may do is $500 dollars. Students may pickthe arbitrator for any arbitration against me, but the names of thepossible arbitrators are from a list I created.
Now suppose that during the semester I do something against youthat you would like to sue me for. From what I've described, whatwould be the best legal argument to getting out of the arbitrationclause you signed?
