6. Interpreting graphs of lines. (a) Figure 2 depicts a line. Write down an equation for this line, and very briefly explain in words how you knew to write down that equation. Figure 2: A graph of a line. (b) The following equation defines a particular line: \[ y=\frac{6 x-8}{2} \] By looking at this equation, what are the values of the slope and the \( y \)-intercept? (c) Sketch a graph of the line without using a calculator or any other device to help you. (Of course, electronics devices can do this job for you, but remember our goal here, and remember you can always ask for help if you aren't sure!) Your sketch should have labeled \( x \) - and \( y \)-axes, and their scales should be clearly indicated with at least some labeled tick marks. Make sure your sketch shows the points where the line intensects both the \( x \) - and \( y \)-axes.
