[12 marks] (b) A modification to the system works as follows: The mapping from I to H is replaced by an n^(')\times n^(') convolution kernel. This has a single set of parameters v_(k,l) and c used to compute every element of H as the weighted sum of a patch of elements in I H_(i,j)(I)=\sigma (\sum_(k=1)^(n^(')) \sum_(l=1)^(n^(')) v_(k,l)I_(i+k-1,j+l-1)+c).
