Design and implement a presettable 4-bit down counter similar to a kitchen timer. The counter allows any 4-bit data to be loaded as the initial value using a preset circuit. When the counter reaches 0000 , it stops, and a LED or buzzer is activated. After loading the preset value, the counter starts automatically. The clock signal generation and clock period are to be determined by the student. Any flip-flop type and logic gates can be used. A 7-segment decoder can be used for displaying the input and output, with switches and LEDs utilized for input and output visualization.
