Connect the AC voltmeter across the capacitor and record the voltage in the table below. 4. Use the AC volimeter to measure the voltage drop acrons both the revistor and the capacitor. (Place one lead on the voltage coming into the circuit and the other lead on 5. ground.) Record your findings in the table below. Do the voltage drops across the resistor and capscitor add up to the total voltage applied to the circuit? If not, why not? Using the following vector diagram below as a guide, supply your measured values of and , and calculate the expected voltage drop across the two components together (E).
