The Chief of Staff’s Office has received notification from the Headquarters of an intended visit by the Head of Peacekeeping to United Nations Mission in Vyandu (UNMIV) in December of 2021. This is a welcome visit to the mission, at a time when the mission is planning a series of high-level engagement events and activities with the international community and the Government ahead of the host country’s Independence Day on 12 December. As the Administrative Officer in the office, you have been requested to: 1. Draft a response on behalf of mission leadership to Headquarters acknowledging and welcoming the visit of the Head of Peacekeeping. (25 Marks) 2. Develop a checklist for the Chief of Staff to guide preparations for the visit, including identifying the responsible sections that will be tasked. (25 Marks)
